Speedfil R3 Review

This is by far the best rear carry system I have used.  It appears to be made out of a high quality plastic that flexes a little.  This is great because it flexes as you go over bumps making a smoother ride for your bottles so they are not as likely to fly out like other systems.  Other people I ride with have other systems and are constantly losing bottles, but I have not lost a single one.

I have mine setup to carry 2 Co2's, 2 bottles, tube, inflator and tire iron.  It is super light and highly adjustable.  Depending on the race I do, I change it to just carry one bottle.  It also works with any seat because of their locking system and adjust-ability.  The other great part about their locking system is you don't need to worry about it getting lose and becoming limp while you ride.  I have had this issue with other rear carry systems and it's a pain to stop and fix it, plus is can scratch your bike.

The last comment I have is the great customer service Speedfil has.  I broke the carrier (my fault, not because of Speedfil) and when I tried to order the broken piece, they just sent it to me with no charge!

I love supporting companies with excellent products and great customer service.  Thank you Speedfil for being one of those companies!

Other Life Updates

I never thought the day would come, but I sold the fit!  I really good deal come up on a Honda Odyssey and I thought it would be nice to have more room so I have moved on to a soccer mom van.  The other day when we were doing a green waste run (pulling our trailer with the van), a guy referred to Jackie as a "Mom Looking Creature". Pretty funny! Ashley gave us face masks so we had to try them out! We helped a farm do some pineapple planting. It was a learning experience in more ways than one! Jackie had to stay home with the dog so Jess and I went to the Line Dance Festival in Vegas! Had to stop at In N Out We went to Kona for Christmas, but the dog started having seizures again so we had to go home early.

2024 Kauai GoFarm Program

 I'm not sure how, but Jackie convinced me to sign up for the GoFarm program.  It's 8 months longs and life consuming.  While it was stressful and a lot of it was a waste of time, we did learn a ton and in the end, we are growing lots of food at home and looking to buy land to grow more stuff to sell. Turns out I really enjoy growing things! The start of the plot Our first CSA Communal cabbage crop We had so many flowers, Jackie made us a flower pedal bath. It was so nice. We had so many extra tomatoes we decided so sell some to local restaurants.
